KAIST South Korean Scholarship 2021-2022: BS, MS, PHD Scholarship in South Korea

The KAIST South Korean Scholarship 2021 is now accepting online applications from international students for the academic year 2021. The GKS program is designed to provide higher education opportunities in South Korea for international students with the aim of promoting international exchange in education and learning as well as mutual friendship amongst the participating countries.

There are two tracks to apply for the scholarship program, Embassy track, and the University track:

Applicants must apply either to a Korean Embassy where they hold citizenship or to one of the enlisted universities
Before you apply, please read the attached guideline carefully to find the right track for you.
Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at
higher educational institutions in Korea for graduate-level degrees, which will enhance international
education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.


Who is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Program as International Students?
International candidates for the EARLY track must meet all of the following requirements:

1) Spring 2021 (EARLY only)

>> Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by February 28th, 2021.

2) Fall 2021 (EARLY / REGULAR / LATE)

>> Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by August 31st, 2021.

3) He or she is not a citizen of Korea.

* Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as foreign students.
