Maruti Suzuki to hike Price of its cars from April 2021, which will be the second hike in the Year 2021.
Though it would be the second hike in the year 2021. Earlier this year in Jan 2021, Maruti Suzuki had hiked the prices of its various cars, for selected models. The prices were hiked from from 6000 INR to 34,000 INR. Back then too, Maruti had justified the price hike due to increased input costs.
Maruti will not be
the lone manufacturer which is planning a second price increase this year, but
other manufacturers like Renault, Mahindra etc. are planning
similarly. Now the demand has relatively stabilized, almost one year after the
start of the pandemic, automakers are now keen to share the load of increased
costs with their buyers.
Currently
the Maruti Suzuki is selling the cars like Alto-800, S-Presso , WagonR,
Celerio, Eeco van, New Swift, Dzire, Gypsy, Ertiga and Vitara,
Brezza through its Arena dealership and cars
like Ignis, Baleno, S-Cross, Ciaz and XL6 through its Nexa Dealership.
