Here is the criteria for University Canada West Scholarships:
This scholarship is offered to students eligible for admission to the Associate of Arts,
Bachelor of Arts,
or Bachelor of Commerce program. Applicants must submit the form along
with the following:
Personal statement (approx. 500 words): Describe how the undergraduate
program will contribute to their long-term career goals. Applicants may also
submit the following optional documents:
Professional reference letters.
Proof of participation in community engagement and volunteer work.
Consideration will be primarily based on:
The date of their admission to UCW,
Personal statement and supporting documents.
Available funding.
Applicants must remain good in academic standing and have
no disciplinary sanctions (academic or conduct) during the time
of their disbursements.
Benefits :
University Canada West Scholarships will provide the following benefits:
The value of the scholarship is based on each applicant’s demonstrated and
potential leadership and community service. The total value is $5,000 for
undergraduate programs and $5,000 (graduate programs).
Other details :
Applicants must write a Personal Statement describing how this scholarship
will affect their personal, educational, and career goals, how the students
intend to use their skills to contribute to the growth of their countries,
and what obstacles they face. The award funding will be dependent on
the strength of your application and personal statement. Students must
remain in good academic standing.
Awardees of the Undergraduate award must maintain a minimum GPA
of 2.67 on a scale of 4.0 to remain eligible for the award. Awardees of
graduate program scholarships must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to
remain eligible for the second and subsequent award payments
