East-West Center scholarship aims to train students to promote cultural development and acceptance in the world and provide the future leader’s guidance, training, and skills so that they can positively contribute to their society in educational, leadership and cultural areas all this without the hassle of finances because the scholarship is fully funded.

The East-West Center Fellowship is designed to make a positive change in the Asia-Pacific society by enabling young minds to form a network of such progressive individuals who are eager to contribute to teamwork, intercultural activities, academic programs, social assistance, and leadership training projects.

The scholarship will help develop good bilateral relations between USA-Asia and Pacific countries. At the University, all the students from diverse backgrounds will work together to identify the global problems and develop strategies for their solutions.

Eligibility Criteria :

Here are the criteria for the East-West Center fellowship program:

  1. Only the permanent residents or citizenship holders from the following regions are eligible for this scholarship; United States, Pacific Region, South East Asia, South Asia, and East Asia.
  2. Applicants must have a 4 years’ bachelor’s degree or any equivalent degree accepted by US colleges, or University are eligible.
  3. Applicants must have a minimum of 3.0 GP out of 4.0 during their last 4 semesters of the bachelor’s program to apply for a scholarship.

Benefits :

  1. The scholarship provides complete tuition-fee for the whole masters or doctoral program.
  2. Accommodations at the East-West Center Hall will be provided.
  3. An allowance to aid the food and incidental expenses.
  4. Books and material stipends.
  5. All the scholarship holders will be provided health insurance.
  6. Travel grant may also be provided depending on funding availability.
