From Handwara’s remote village to a Motivational Speaker, Read Story of Faizan Nabi

Meet Faizan from one of Handwara’s small village a young poet and a motivational speaker who is full of energy and courage. Faizan Nabi, a 19 years boy turned into a motivational speaker and a poet.

“In my early ages I was used to be very desperate to speak and write and I got a boost at my Senior Secondary School namely Army Goodwill Public School Pahalgam which is a residential school”, said Faizan.

“I didn’t get family support in the beginning as we have adopted the typical trend not to follow hobbies as long as you are not making money out of it. I was scolded many times in the beginning but my passion didn’t let me down, I strived and continued which resulted into my news publications in electronic, digital and print media including widely read newspapers of Kashmir. I started in Lockdown as I found it best time to do so. When everyone was caught by immobility dictated by situation and pandemic, scared, depressed I thought to flourish a YouTube channel ‘Motivation From Kashmir’ to help the people with my energetic words.

I established non formal communication with young minds who are full of energy and aspirations. I myself am a student so I know my target audience better. I tied up with one of my friend Muntazir Mehdi who assists me and guides me through”, added Faizan.

Faizan while talking to us stated that his mentor namely Pervez Majeed has always been supportive and has been encouraging him for his every small activity since his childhood. He said that Pervez Majeed has played a great role in his life and wherever he will be, he owe to his mentor.

Faizan uploads his motivational quotes as well as his poetry on his Instagram account which reads as “faizan_nabi_ _” . He is well known by his pen name “Faiz” and is now often being called by the same name.
