Applications for the UNIL University Scholarship in Switzerland 2022 are now open. This UNIL Switzerland Scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities from across the world. Scholarships might last one or two years, depending on the university. The Université de Lausanne is the best university in Switzerland and has a high research potential. In 2022, the University of Lausanne will offer 42 Master's Programs.Apply for a Scholarship from the Swiss Government in 2022. The scholarship is awarded for the minimum statutory length of the student's selected programme. With the exception of situations of final failure after the first year, it amounts to CHF 1,600 each month from 15 September to 15 July (or 10 months per year) for the whole term of the master's (one and a half years or two years depending on the selected master).

The University of Lausanne, or UNIL, is presently placed #150 in the world in the QS World University Rankings. Candidates must mail their full application list of papers to attach to their application. International students can study in Switzerland in a secure environment.

Financial Coverage 

  1. The scholarship is awarded for the minimum statutory length of the student's selected programme.
  2. It comes to CHF 1,600 each month for the duration of the master's degree.
  3. Scholarship recipients will be excluded from the set registration costs for the courses, with the exception of the CHF 80.00 fees that must be paid each semester.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. A foreign university degree is deemed comparable to a bachelor's degree at UNIL prior to the start of the master's programme at UNIL.
  2. To have distinguished yourself throughout your education, notably by outstanding academic performance.
  3. Good command of the English language is required.

Selection Criteria 

  1. November-December: The Social Affairs and Student Mobility Office (SASME) and the Admissions department process applications (SII)
  2. December-January: The SASME notifies candidates whose applications are incomplete or have not been approved by the admissions department that their scholarship application has been denied.
  3. January-February: Completed applications are forwarded to faculties for review of eligibility for the selected master's degrees.
  4. February-March: The SASME notifies candidates whose applications were rejected by the faculty.
  5. March: The master's scholarship selection board picks the individuals who will be given a master's scholarship.
  6. Candidates are notified of the selection board's decision in early April.
