Fully funded Scholarship Holland -Maastricht University Holland Scholarships 2023-2024



The Maastricht University Holland Scholarship 2023 is now accepting applications. The Maastricht University Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship available to all overseas students in the Netherlands. The Dutch Ministry of Education fully funds this scholarship. It is also one of the most prestigious and well-known scholarship programmes. The Maastricht University (UM) Holland-High Potential Scholarship programme grants 24 full scholarships for the academic year 2023. Participants may be of any nationality and from any country. The Maastricht University Scholarship for 2023 is only offered to students enrolled in a one-year or two-year master's degree programme at Maastricht University. A one-year master's programme takes 13 months. A two-year Master's programme takes 25 months. Please do not gamble with your career and apply with zeal. There are several possibilities. Simply visit our residence. The University will pay for all expenses for the duration of the scholarship programme.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

All Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
  1. You have nationality from a country other than the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam and satisfy the conditions for getting a Dutch entrance visa and residence permit.
  2. You do not have dual citizenship from an EU/EEA country.
  3. You have applied for admission to a full-time master's programme at Maastricht University for the academic year 2023-2024.
  4. You are under the age of 35 on September 1, 2023.

Required Documents

  2. Curriculum Vitae (Up to Date) and should not exceed two A4 pages in length.
  3. Motivational letter Please utilise the motivation letter template. This template will concentrate on your reasons for applying for the scholarship.
  4. Evidence of academic excellence
  5. Personal financial needs statement
  6. A letter of recommendation. We have created scholarship reference letter guidelines, which you should send to your referee.
  7. Letters of recommendation should be dated and written no sooner than February 2022.
