Eligibility Criteria :

The qualifying requirements for the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarships 2023 are as follows:

• International students of any age are welcome to apply for this programme.
• Before they can access the application form, they must first pass an eligibility quiz on the online application system.
• Applications must be submitted in either Irish or English.
• Additionally, students seeking for the scholarship must be affiliated with one of the qualified universities listed in this page.
• A Bachelor's degree is also required to pursue a Master's degree, and a Master's degree is required to apply for a Ph.D.
• English proficiency is required.
• Positive recommendations from academic referees and supervisors are required.
• They must not have failed twice in previous applications for the same programme in order to be considered.
• Students awaiting results must provide temporary certificates issued by their home universities.
• They must also have first-class or upper-second-class degrees.
• Students have never earned an Irish Research Council scholarship.
• During their studies in Ireland, they must have a supervisor who can help them through their research assignments.
• Except for the generation of human embryos and cancer research, the Irish Research Council will not support research on people or human alteration.
