Denmark Scholarships - Fully funded Danish Government Scholarships At University Of Copenhagen 2023-2024

Scholarship Description:

When an overseas student looks for a scholarship in Europe, he or she always considers a fully compensated scholarship in Denmark. Denmark is an attractive location for foreign students, and each year, a large number of international students arrive in Denmark to pursue master's and doctoral degrees. The majority of students wish to receive a fully financed scholarship from the Danish government or any other institution in Denmark.

This scholarship is financed by the Danish government, which allows you to study at the University of Copenhagen provided you meet the university's qualifying conditions and the scholarship procedure. The University of Copenhagen is giving a limited number of scholarships that are supported by the Danish government. The award is competitive, and only extremely gifted applicants with great academic records will be considered. It is also worth noting that students from E)/EEU nations are ineligible for this grant. All non-EU/EEA candidates who are accepted will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Eligible Nationalities

If you are an international student and have the status of international student in Denmark, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship as long as you meet the other qualifying conditions listed.

Scholarship Benefits:

The Danish Government Scholarship is awarded in the form of full or partial tuition fee exemptions and/or a sum sufficient to cover basic living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

1. A citizen of a country other than the EU, EEA, or Switzerland admitted to a master's degree programme at the University of Copenhagen is granted a time-limited residence visa for the purpose of studying in Denmark.
2. If you meet the following criteria, you are ineligible for a Danish Government Scholarship
3. having a legal claim to Danish citizens' rights are eligible for a grant under Danish legislation regarding the State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme (SU). 
4. have been granted a residence permit at the time of admission under the Danish Aliens Consolidations Act 9c, subsection 1, as the child of a foreign citizen granted a residence permit under the Danish Aliens Consolidations Act 9m and who is a citizen of a country that has not acceded to the EU or is not covered by the EEA agreement.

Application Procedure:

1. If they are eligible, all non-EU/EEA candidates to the University of Copenhagen's MA/MSc degree programmes will be automatically assessed for the Danish Government Scholarship. As a result, there is no need to apply.
2. Those that are nominated will be contacted by UCPH via the email address provided in their admission application. The scholarship must be declined or accepted by the nominees.
3. If you are given a scholarship but do not accept it by the time mentioned in the e-mail, the scholarship will be cancelled and awarded to another applicant. As a result, you must ensure that you check your e-mail on a frequent basis. Check your spam folder or other e-mail filters, as emails may be routed from your inbox to the spam folder.
