Research topics are provided below. Applicants are advised to select up to two research topics only. Applicants must submit a research proposal for each selected research topic with the application.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Malaysian and international students are welcome to apply.
2. Applicants must hold a First Class Honors degree or its equivalent (H1E) as accepted by Monash Malaysia.
3. In addition, to be eligible for the scholarship, students must demonstrate specific academic and English language proficiency.
4. Applicants must be willing to devote up to 10 hours per week to research or academic support activities as determined by the managing School.

Benefits :

1. For three years and three months, the university waives all tuition fees.
2. A monthly stipend of RM 2,800 is provided for a period of 27 months.
3. Students will also get a AUD 37,000 stipend for up to 12 months in Australia.

3. Proposals for up to two preferred research topics
4. Personal statement describing why you believe you are qualified for the GEMS programme
