Government of Ireland Scholarships Study Free in Europe - Fully Funded 2023-2024

For the academic year 2023, the Ireland Government Scholarship is available to overseas students. Scholarships for Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programmes are available in Europe as part of a national effort by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science. Eligibility

Applicants must be from countries other than the EU/EEA.

1. Before applying for the programme and scholarship, they must thoroughly examine their eligibility.
2. Applicants must have obtained an offer from one of the approved Irish institutions.
3. Applications must be submitted in either Irish or English.
4. Supervisors and referees must give a favourable report on the application.
5. Applicants who have failed twice after applying for the Ireland government scholarship are not eligible to apply for the same programme a third time.
6. Furthermore, candidates must not have previously received an Irish Research Council fellowship.
7. Students in their last year of their undergraduate programme are eligible to apply for the award.
8. International applicants are welcome to apply for the master's taught and research programmes, as well as the PhD degree.
9. Applicants must have a strong academic background.

3. The application must be original and must not be plagiarised. Applications must be submitted in either English or Irish.
