The Science@Leuven Scholarships are available to ambitious and bright foreign students interested in participating in an international master's programme at the K.U.Leuven's Faculty of Science.

Scholarship amount, inclusions, and duration:

1. The scholarship might be worth up to 10.000 Euros for one year. The scholarship will always cover one year's tuition, insurance, and minimum health insurance coverage. The amount granted for living costs is subject to change.
2. For two-year Master's programmes, the scholarship for the second master's year will only be extended if the student has exceptional performance in the first master's year.

Eligibility:

Applicants must satisfy and demonstrate the following criteria:

1. the applicants have never studied or worked at the University of Leuven before, 
2. the applicants have a bachelor's degree from a foreign university that entitles them to the master's programme they are applying for, 
3. the applicants have not yet obtained a master's or a PhD,
4. the applicants can demonstrate excellent study results during their previous training. 
5. the applicants can demonstrate a very strong command of the English language (TOEFL (minimum score 94 internet-based with at least 19 for reading, 18 for listening, 19 for speaking, and 21 for writing) or IELTS (minimum score 7 overall, with at least 6,5 for reading, 6 for listening, 6 for speaking, and 6 for writing),
6.  the applicants demonstrate a strong motivation to pursue a master's degree at the K.U.Leuven's Faculty of Science
7. the applicants are willing to serve as programme ambassadors.

Instructions for use:

1. Applicants must apply for the Master programme of their choosing through the KU Leuven application portal. When you register for the scholarship, you must share a screenshot proving that you successfully filed the admissions application.
2. Only applications submitted (with the International Office and registered on the scholarship website) by February 15, 2023 will be considered for the scholarship.
