The International Higher Education Scholarship Program of TaiwanICDF strives to help partner developing countries achieve sustainable development via education. The TaiwanICDF offers higher education scholarships and has built undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programmes in collaboration with famous Taiwanese partner universities.

- West Asia includes Jordan, Mongolia, Russia, and Turkey.
- Africa includes Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Somaliland, Tanzania, and Uganda.
- Caribbean countries include Haiti, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
- Central America includes Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.
- Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay are all in South America.
- Europe consists of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, and Serbia.
Scholarship worth and inclusions:
- Each scholarship recipient receives a complete scholarship
- which includes return flights
- lodging
- tuition and credit fees
- insurance, textbook expenses
- and a monthly stipend (NT$12,000/month for undergraduates, NT$15,000/month for masters, and NT$17,000/month for doctoral students).
Eligibility
- Be a citizen of a nation on the List of Countries Eligible for TaiwanICDF Scholarship, and meet any particular conditions specified by his or her country of citizenship and/or government.
- You must not be a Republic of China (Taiwan) national or an overseas compatriot student.
- Comply with the entrance standards of the partner university to which he or she has applied for a TaiwanICDF scholarship.
- You must be able to meet all of the requirements for a Resident Visa.

Instructions for use:
- Applicants must send a signed, printed copy of their application, along with all other application materials, to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office stationed in their country.
- In addition to the materials needed as part of their scholarship application, students must provide any paperwork necessary by the TaiwanICDF partner institutions to which they are applying before the university's admissions deadline.
- In general, the yearly application period runs from 1 January to 15 March (for 2023 Scholarship programs, the application period runs from 1 January – 15 March 2023).
