Fully funded ACU Summer School 2023 | The applications for the 2023 Summer School are now open

Applications for the ACU Summer School 2023 are currently being accepted. Welcome to our blog, Opportunities Corners. This is an incredible opportunity that the Commonwealth has fully funded. The first Summer School will be held in the winter. Applicants will attend Stellenbosch University in South Africa from July 2 to July 10, 2023. The theme of the ACU Summer School is Truth and Reconciliation. Applicants with a wide range of academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. There are no IELTS or other language requirements for this Summer School. Furthermore, there is no application cost for this programme.

The ACU 2023 Summer School is unique in that it accepts applications from undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. During this Fully Funded Summer School, you will study about the political, social, and economic dynamics that influenced South African politics in the twentieth century. You will also create contacts and networks with candidates from all around the world. The Program will choose 40 people.

1. The inaugural Summer School in South Africa will take place in July 2023, and the season will be Winter in South Africa.
2. The Summer School's theme is Truth and reconciliation: from apartheid to transitional justice.
3. Social Activities include game nights, film screenings, and other events.
4. Most significantly, this initiative is completely funded.
5. Deadline - 30 Jan 2023

Financial Coverage:

The ACU will bear the following costs:

1. On-campus housing will be provided.
2. Transportation across the city will be provided.
3. Meals are provided on campus.
4. Excursions and social activities
5. Economy Return Flight Flights to and from South Africa.

The following expenses are not included:

Visa (please note that certain nations do not require a visa to enter South Africa) (please note that some nationalities do not need a visa to enter South Africa). You should check with your own country to see whether you require a Visa.

Eligibility: 

To apply for the ACU Summer School in South Africa in 2023, you must be:

1. Participants might be from outside of Africa or from within Africa.
2. Undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. students currently enrolled.
3. Participants from ACU Member Countries

Requirements 

You must provide some papers together with your online application form.

1. Your instructor, lecturer, or adviser should write a reference letter from your university on letterhead.
2. Letter of Motivation
3. Fill out the application form.
