The Malaysia Government Scholarship, commonly known as the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) 2023, is now accepting applications! The Malaysian Government launched the MIS 2023 programme to fund the postgraduate studies of talented and outstanding foreign students from across the world, allowing them to study in Malaysia without financial constraints. This fully financed Malaysia fellowship aspires to establish Malaysia as a global focus of intellectual achievement. Only full-time master's students will be eligible for the MIS postgraduate scholarship.

Fields of Study
Malaysia Government S Scholarship in Malaysia for Masters & PhD students accepts almost all academic subjects. Applicants are welcome to apply for any recognised courses. However, the following courses will be prioritised:
- Education
- Humanities and Arts
- Administration, Business, and Law
- Journalism, social sciences, and information
- Technologies of Information and Communication
- Mathematics, natural sciences, and statistics
- Agriculture, forestry, fishing, and veterinary medicine, as well as manufacturing and construction
- Health and Welfare (with the exception of nursing, medicine, and pharmacy)

Malaysia has four private and twenty public institutions competing for the Malaysia Government Scholarship 2023-24. The following is a list:
- Malaysian Technical University (UTM)
- Malaysia's Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
- Malaysian universities include Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM/IIUM), and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
- Malaysian universities include Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

- Teknologi Malaysia Melaka (UTEM) Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI)
- Malaysian Sabah University (UMS)

Eligibility
- Applicants must be graduates/citizens of the aforementioned countries.
- The applicant must be no older than 40 years old for a master's degree and 45 years old for a PhD.
- They must intend to study full-time for a postgraduate degree in Malaysia.
- Applicants who are presently enrolled in full-time postgraduate studies at any of the universities listed above and have at least two (2) semesters left until the conclusion of their degree may also apply for this postgraduate fellowship.
- Applicants must have an outstanding academic record with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
- Applicants must also submit a written proposal of at least 1,000 words related to their field of study.
- International students must have English language proficiency proof, such as IELTS or TOEFL, in order to qualify for Malaysian government scholarships.

Scholarship Requirements:
All of the following papers are required and must be uploaded using the online application system (scanned and saved in PDF format):
- Form for submitting an application.
- A certified copy of the applicant's passport as proof of nationality (passport must be valid for at least 6 months).
- A copy of the applicant's academic transcript that has been certified.
- Transcripts must contain a record of all courses taken during the degree programme.
- For a master's scholarship, applicants must submit their undergraduate transcripts, and for a PhD scholarship, they must additionally provide transcripts from their master's studies.
- If an applicant's transcript does not include information on CGPA, marks, or score percentile, they must produce an official certifying document issued by their institution that outlines the university's grading system.
- A recommendation letter from any two referees.
- A verified copy of proof of English language competency.
- Admission letter from one of the Malaysian universities listed above.
- Proposal for Research.
- CV stands for curriculum vitae.

- The Malaysia Government Scholarship application is completed online.
- First, applicants must register. Sign in for the application after registering.
- The applicant must fill out an application form and upload all necessary papers in PDF format.
