Benefits of the Scholarship: The New Zealand academic year 2023–2024 AUT International Scholarships are divided into the following categories:

Masters degree: annual stipend of NZ$17,172

Domestic tuition fees will not be charged (aside from the student services fee and insurance).

PhD degree: annual stipend of NZ$30,696

36-month suspension of domestic tuition fees (excluding student services fees and insurance).

Eligibility

• All international students of any nationality are eligible for this scholarship. 
• Candidates must be pursuing their first Master's degree in order to be eligible.
•  Any nationality that is an international student is eligible to apply.
•  The scholarship is available for Master's programmes with a thesis requirement.
• The scholarship is available to students pursuing their first doctoral degree for those seeking a PhD.
