Eligibility 

1. There are no nationality restrictions. Applicants may be Australian citizens or residents from anywhere in the world.
2. To be eligible for this MS/MPhil degree level scholarship, applicants must have finished their bachelor's degree (16 years of schooling) or equivalent with at least 75% grades.
3. To be eligible for the Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships programme at the Ph.D. degree level, applicants must have completed a master's degree (18-year study) or equivalent with at least 75% grades.
4. They must have conducted study at his most recent educational level (undergraduate or master's).
5. To apply for this Graduate Research Programme, applicants must have research potential.
6. Students must be in good health.
7. Applicants must have obtained their most recent degree in English.
8. Last but not least, applicants must possess relevant professional experience. 

Benefits 

1. Full tuition charge for up to two years for those pursuing a Masters degree and up to four years for that selected applicant pursuing a PhD (doctoral degree).
2. Living stipend of $34,400 per year based on 2023 full-time study rate for up to 2 years for Master's degree students or up to 3.5 years for doctoral degree students. 
3. The living stipend is calculated on an annual basis and includes limited paid parental, sick, and maternity leave.
4. Students from countries other than Victoria are eligible for a $2000 relocation allowance, while international students (from outside Australia) are eligible for a $3000 relocation allowance.

Requirements 

1. A research proposal is required by several graduate institutions. 
2. If the applicant's previous degree was not entirely in English, TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson Test of English (academic exams), or Cambridge English, Advanced/Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) may be required to meet the University's English language requirements.
3. Two referee recommendations (academic or professional).
4. Some publications to showcase your research abilities.
5. Academic transcripts, final.
