Eligibility 

1. Before enrolling at GIST, applicants must have completed their last degree.
2. Their bachelor's degree must be at least as good as a Korean bachelor's degree.
3. Furthermore, applicants from any country (excluding South Korea) are welcome to apply.
4. They must be fluent in English.
5. Applications must have a strong academic background.
6. They must be academically outstanding.
7. They must also meet the criteria and prerequisites of the program/course for which they are applying.

Benefits

1. The scholarship will cover all tuition costs for international students.
2. MS students will be paid 140,000 Won per month.
3. PhD students will be paid 295,000 Won each month.
4. MS and PhD students will be provided with a meal stipend of 100,000 Won each day.
5. MS and PhD students will get a 120,000 Won international student allowance. Students must, however, maintain a GPA of three or above out of a possible 4.5 in the previous semester.
6. MS students involved in research projects will get a research assistantship worth 4,785,384 won per year, while PhD students would receive a research assistantship worth 12,263,262 won per year.
7. In addition, GIST will pay a one-way flight to South Korea (once).
8. It will also cover 60% of national health insurance costs, including annual physicals.

Requirements

3. Two letters of recommendation with the recommenders' stamps and signatures.
4. A copy of the applicant's passport is required.
5. Official English language proficiency test results TOEFL (BT) 80, TOEFL (PBT) 550, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 750, NEW TEPS 327, and so on.
6. If you do not receive your test results in a timely manner, your home institution can provide you with a professional English language competency certificate declaring that English was the language of instruction at your prior university.
