Eligibility
- Before enrolling at GIST, applicants must have completed their last degree.
- Their bachelor's degree must be at least as good as a Korean bachelor's degree.
- Furthermore, applicants from any country (excluding South Korea) are welcome to apply.
- They must be fluent in English.
- Applications must have a strong academic background.
- They must be academically outstanding.

Benefits
- The scholarship will cover all tuition costs for international students.
- MS students will be paid 140,000 Won per month.
- PhD students will be paid 295,000 Won each month.
- MS and PhD students will be provided with a meal stipend of 100,000 Won each day.
- MS and PhD students will get a 120,000 Won international student allowance. Students must, however, maintain a GPA of three or above out of a possible 4.5 in the previous semester.
- MS students involved in research projects will get a research assistantship worth 4,785,384 won per year, while PhD students would receive a research assistantship worth 12,263,262 won per year.
- In addition, GIST will pay a one-way flight to South Korea (once).
- It will also cover 60% of national health insurance costs, including annual physicals.
Requirements

- Official transcripts and degrees. Apostille is desired, although notarized copies are acceptable as well.
- Two letters of recommendation with the recommenders' stamps and signatures.
- A copy of the applicant's passport is required.
- Official English language proficiency test results TOEFL (BT) 80, TOEFL (PBT) 550, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 750, NEW TEPS 327, and so on.
- If you do not receive your test results in a timely manner, your home institution can provide you with a professional English language competency certificate declaring that English was the language of instruction at your prior university.
