Swiss Government Scholarships 2024-2025 are available for Master's, PhD, and postdoctoral studies in Switzerland to students from all around the world.
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships promotes international cooperation and interaction between Switzerland and over 180 countries through research and the arts. Nationals of all countries that have diplomatic relations with Switzerland are allowed to apply. Switzerland has a high reputation for education among other countries. Eligibility Criteria:
- A letter of admission from a professor at a Swiss institution.
- Applicants for PhD and Post-doctoral positions must have a master's degree that is equivalent to a Swiss master's degree.
- A bachelor's degree equivalent to a Swiss bachelor's degree is required for admission to the master's program.
- The candidate must be a national of one of Switzerland's diplomatic partners.
- Scholarship recipients must be able to relocate to Switzerland for the duration of their studies.
- Applicants who have lived in Switzerland for more than a year are ineligible to apply.
- Cannot apply if you have previously received a Swiss Government grant.

Documents Required
- A simple curriculum vitae.
- A motivational letter.
- A research plan of no more than 5 pages (signed) on the FCS form.
- Please submit two sets of documents: one original and one copy.
- The first set must include the original signed documents as well as two letters of recommendation (attested in English if applicable).
- Except for recommendation letters, the second set must be a duplicate of the first.
- A typed and printed FCS form with a photograph on it.
How to Apply
- You must apply independently to Swiss universities and the Federal Commission of Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS).
- You must provide your complete profile as well as your research project/artistic work.
- You must find your own supervisor from a preferred Swiss university.
- It is recommended that the research of your chosen professors correspond with your field of study.
- Contact your lecturer directly and express your interest in the Swiss Government scholarship.
- Students seeking for Arts must first establish their country's eligibility.
- All documentation must be presented in English.
