Scholarships in France - Eiffel Excellence Scholarships 2024-2025 for Masters and PhD free in France

The France Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2024 application period is now open. The Eiffel Excellence Program is an international student scholarship offered by the French government. The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs fully funds the Eiffel Scholarship in order to lure foreign students to their Master's and PhD programs.

The Eiffel Excellence scholarship is available to all French higher education institutions. Applicants for the Master's Degree program must be at least 25 years old, while those applying for the Doctoral Degree program must be at least 30 years old. It includes all expenses. Financial Benefits

Holders of the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship will receive:

1. A monthly payment of €1,181 (Master Level) is provided.
2. A monthly payment of €1,700 (Doctorate Level) is provided.
3. Insurance for International Airfare and Domestic Travel Assistance
4. Housing assistance, as well as cultural events.
5. Tuition for programs leading to a national diploma (master's, PhD) or an approved engineering degree is waived for recipients of French government scholarships.

Payment Regulations

Payments are often sent by bank transfer to the recipient's account. Western Union is used to send the first payment to the receiver.

Duration of the Scholarship

1. Master’s Level

    a maximum of 12 months when enrolling in an M2 (Second year of a master’s program)

    a maximum of 24 months when enrolling in an M1 (First year of a master’s program

    a maximum of 36 months for the completion of an engineering degree.

2. Doctoral Level

• Eiffel scholarships are awarded for a period of 6 to 36 months.
