Tier One and Two

1. Tuition is paid in full.

Admission Prerequisites

Applicants to the Master's Degree Program:

1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent (e.g. an upper second-class honors degree from a respected accredited school).
2. A basic degree of English competence in the form of:
3. TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) score of 91 or higher, or
4. Overall academic IELTS score of 6.5 or EmSAT English score of 1550
5. Admission to all Master of Science programs requires a minimum quantitative score of 150 on the General Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Applicants must take the GRE in all three parts.
6. At least two referee endorsements (given via an online form).
7. Purpose statement (500-1,000 words).
8. Interview for admission.

Applicants to Doctoral Degree Programs

1. NEW REQUIREMENT: Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable accredited institution with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent (for Bachelor's to PhD direct admission), or Completion of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable accredited institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or equivalent.
2. A minimal level of English proficiency, as demonstrated by an iBT TOEFL (internet-based exam) score of 91 or higher, or
3. Overall academic IELTS score of 6.5 or EmSAT English score of 1550
4. A quantitative score of at least 150 on the general Graduate Record Examination (GRE).  Applicants must take the GRE in all three parts.
5. A minimum of two referee recommendations (provided via online form).
6. Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words).
7. Research statement (500-1,000 words).
8. Admission interview.

Exemption from the English Language Test

1. The language proficiency exam may be waived if the candidate is:
2. A native English speaker who completed his/her Bachelor's/Master's degree qualification in an English-medium institution, or A graduate from an English-medium institution who can provide evidence of obtaining a minimum overall academic IELTS score of 6.0, or a minimum TOEFL score of 79 iBT (or equivalent), or a minimum EmSAT English score of 1400 at the time of admission to the completed Bachelor's/Master's degree program.

2. The UAE Ministry of Education issues an equivalency certificate to candidates who have graduated from universities outside the UAE.
3. Transcripts of official proceedings
4. Certificate of English language competency (IELTS, TOEFL, or EmSAT).
5. Score report for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
6. Curriculum Vitae (CV) in detail.
7. Photograph in the manner of a passport on a white backdrop.
8. Passport must be valid. International candidates who live in the UAE must additionally submit a clear copy of their current UAE visa.
9. Family Book (Khulasat Al Qaid - only UAE nationals accepted).
10. Valid UAE national ID card (for national and international applicants residing in the UAE at the time of application).
