Study Free in South Korea - KAIST University Is Accepting Applications For Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships 2024-2025

The KAIST University Undergraduate Scholarship 2024 is now accepting applications. This is an open call for the Fall 2024 intake. All overseas applicants are welcome to apply for the KAIST Scholarship. International students presently enrolled at another university are also eligible to apply. TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) credentials are not required for international students at the time of application.
All candidates seeking Undergraduate admission to KAIST will be awarded a full KAIST scholarship. There are around 10,700 students enrolled in five institutions and seven schools, including 1,127 foreign students from over 90 countries. KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is more than a university. The University was established in 1971. More information is provided below.
Benefits
All students will be eligible for the full KAIST Scholarship. The KAIST scholarship for overseas undergraduate students comprises the following benefits:
- Full tuition fee: Tuition exemption for all eight semesters of the four-year program.
- Monthly living expenses: 350,000 KRW
- Health care insurance

- International Student Admission Applicants
- Admitted students are eligible for KAIST Scholarships.
- After their first year, students must maintain a GPA of at least 2.7 out of 4.3 at KAIST.

English Test Proficiency Prerequisites
Submission of English Proficiency Test (EPT) scores such as TOEFL, IELTS, and others, as well as Standardized test results such as SAT, AP, and others, is encouraged but not required. Those without a test result can still apply. There will be no negative consequences.

- The academic year begins in the fall of 2024.
Criteria for Eligibility
- Applicants having dual nationality.
- Applicants of Korean heritage must have completed their whole elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea if neither of their parents is a Korean citizen.
- Applicants with Korean citizenship (including dual citizenship) are ineligible to apply for admission as international students.
