Eligibility

• Applicants for the bachelor's degree program must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be under the age of 25.
• Applicants for doctoral degree programs must have a master's degree or an equivalent certification and be under the age of 40.
• Applicants for doctorate programs should have a master's degree or an equivalent certification, exceptional academic performance, and be under the age of 40.
• Applicants must be psychologically and physically stable.
• Chinese nationals are not eligible; only overseas students may apply.
• It is necessary to be fluent in English.
• Applicants must also have strong research skills.
• Applicants must have a strong academic record.
• English-taught Program Language Requirements
• Applicants who speak English as their first language are excused from the English language requirement. Those whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency in the form of a TOEFL score of 80 or higher (DI code: C296), a TOEFL iBT score of 80 or higher, and an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.
• Other conditions of Shandong University must also be met by applicants.

• Then, in order to submit the University application, applicants must create an account on the SDU Online Application System for International Students.
• Fill out the form completely with all of the necessary information.
• Applicants must pay the application fee (RMB 400 yuan non-refundable) to Shandong University before the deadline.
