The Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2024-2025 is a fully financed scholarship for international students wishing to pursue undergraduate, master's, or doctoral studies. This scholarship covers tuition, international flights, a monthly stipend of 800 AZN, medical insurance, visa and registration fees.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued orders to authorize the Educational Grant Programs for the Citizens of the Member Countries of "the Organization for Islamic Cooperation" and "the Educational Grant Program for the Citizens of the Member Countries of the Non-Aligned Movement".
The programs offer a yearly chance for 40 selected students to study at Azerbaijan's premier universities in Preparatory, Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral General medicine/residency programs.

Eligible Countries
- Member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organisation
- The Non-Aligned Movement member countries
- Countries in the group of Small Island Developing States
- Countries where nations and national minorities share ethnic, historical, and cultural ties with Azerbaijan
Eligibility
- Required Language: English, Malay, or Arabic.
- For undergraduate and general medicine programs, citizens under the age of 25
- For graduate and residency programs - citizens under the age of 30
- For doctoral programs, citizens under the age of 40
Requirements
- Diplomas or transcripts for previous high school or university education.
- Please include a copy of your passport and a document detailing your general health status, including HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B/C tests.
- CV or resume.
- Motivation letter and proof of English proficiency (for foreign language programs: IELTS 5, TOEFL 40 for undergraduates and IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 50 for other programs).
- Note that all documents must be translated into English or Russian and notarized.
