As of 2024, 31 Shanghai universities participate in the Shanghai Government Scholarship Program. They provide two sorts of scholarships. The Shanghai Government Scholarships for Foreign Students are classified into two categories: A and B. Benefits
The Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) has two types: Type A and Type B. They differ in the level of financial support they provide.
SGS Type A (full scholarship):

- Provides a monthly living allowance to help you meet your living expenditures.
