Fully Funded Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship 2024-2025 for Masters Degree for International Students

JJWBGSP 2024 offers fully funded scholarships for students to study in the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan in 2024. Round 2 applications for the Joint Japan-World Bank Graduate Scholarship are currently open. This Scholarship is a collaboration and joint initiative between the World Bank and Japan to provide fully funded Master's Degree Scholarships to students in underdeveloped nations. They may apply to any participating university in a program in the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, or Japan.
The JJ/WBGSP is open to over 160 developing nations. Applicants must have received a Bachelor's degree at least three years prior to the application deadline. The World Bank Graduate Scholarship is open to both male and female applicants. They highly encourage female applicants to apply. Benefits:
The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program offers a fully funded scholarship to international students. All expenses will be reimbursed. The full benefits are:
- Economy class. Air Travel from your home nation to the host university.
- Two-way airfare, with a $500 travel allowance per trip for scholars.
- Full Tuition for Your Graduate Program
- Cost of Medical Insurance.
- Monthly stipend to cover all expenditures, including housing, food, and books.
- The sum also changes depending on the country where you will receive the scholarships, such as the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.
Eligibility criteria:
To become eligible for the JJWBGSP:
- Applicants must be nationals of poor countries. The World Bank's list of developing countries can be found here.
- To apply for a Joint Japan Master Scholarship, applicants must first complete a bachelor's degree program.
- Applicants must have nationality from one of the World Bank's designated countries.

JJ/WBGSP provides scholarships for 52 Participating Master's Programs at 27 universities across the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.
