Southern Denmark University is a world-class research institution and one of the world's top 50 universities. It offers a variety of higher education programmes, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes. The University provides a world-class education and is committed to promoting global awareness at all levels. Strong global environments and opportunities in Denmark allow student life to flourish in its rich diversity. The University of Southern Denmark awards a limited number of scholarships under the Danish Government Scholarship programme to highly qualified applicants in acknowledgment of the significant commitment that international students make in their study.

The scholarship is awarded as either a full or partial tuition fee waiver. A partial tuition fee waiver covers tuition for one year (second and fourth semesters), but you must still pay tuition for the first and third semesters. Fee exemptions cover 30 ECTS per semester. The fee waiver does not cover courses that exceed 30 ECTS. You will be invited for an interview. The scholarships are offered to the most qualified candidates based on their Bachelor's degree grade point average and an online interview with key members of the Master's course. Once SDU has completed your admissions application, you will be notified via email of your interview invitation. If you have applied for more than one of the programmes, the interview will be for your highest priority.
