1. MEXT Embassy Recommendation Scholarship for Masters, and PhD
MEXT is the Japanese government's largest scholarship program. It is available to all nationals from countries with diplomatic relations with Japan. The scholarship covers all expenses, and you do not need to have IELTS to apply.
2. MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship (Embassy Track)
Those who wish to study a fully supported undergraduate degree program at a Japanese university may apply for the MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship Program. The scholarship covers all expenses, and there is no application fee. No IELTS are required.
3. Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship
This is a fully funded Master's Degree scholarship offered jointly by the World Bank and Japan to international students from impoverished countries.
4. Rotary Peace Fellowship
The fellowship combines both a master's degree program and a professional development certificate program, including 50 master's scholarships and 80 short certificate fellowships. Students can apply for the Rotary Fellowship to pursue a master's degree at International Christian University.
5. Asian Development Bank (ADB) Scholarship at Japanese Universities
Every year, ADB provides approximately 300 master's degree scholarships. The ADB Scholarships are fully sponsored and available at several Japanese universities. International students from ADB member nations can apply for a fully financed scholarship to study in Japan.
