German nationals are not eligible. This is a great opportunity for researchers, providing support for their projects. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, a mentor, medical insurance, round-trip airfare, a family allowance, and help with living expenses. More details about the fellowship are provided below.
Types of Fellowship:
For Postdoctoral Researchers:
- For those who completed their PhDs within the last four years.
- Research in Germany for 6 to 24 months.
For Experienced Researchers:
- For those further along in their careers.
- Fellowships last 6 to 18 months and can be split into up to three stays within three years.
Benifits
Monthly Stipend:
- €2,670 per month for Postdoctoral Researchers
- €3,170 per month for Experienced Researchers
- Allowance for conferences, research trips, and library stays
- Medical insurance
- Airfare
- Family allowances for accompanying family members staying at least three months
- Flat-rate allowance for accompanying children under 18
Eligibility
- Open to all nationalities except German nationals.
- Applicants must have a Ph.D., doctoral degree, or equivalent research experience.
- Proven research excellence with publications in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals.
- A strong research profile with significant academic and research achievements.
