Study Free in UK - University of Glasgow Fully Funded Graduate Scholarships 2024-2025 for Masters and PhD

The Adam Smith Business School offers a respected MRes/PhD program in Economics. It begins with a 2-year MRes course. Students who do well in the MRes will have priority for the 3-4 year PhD phase. Funding is renewed each year and includes a small teaching duty starting from the second year. The University of Glasgow will fund up to six students, covering tuition fees and a living allowance for up to five years. This funding supports comprehensive MRes training and subsequent supervised research in a chosen economics field, leading to a PhD.

Eligibility :

1. Have an offer for the MRes Economics program starting in September 2024.

Benefits: 

The scholarship lasts up to 5 years.

Each year's funding depends on successful progress and acceptance into the PhD program.

It includes:

1. Tuition fees at the Home/EU or international rate.
2. An annual bursary similar to the RCUK rate – estimated at £15,245 for 2022/23.
3. A research support grant of £750 per year during the 3 PhD years.
