Every academic year, the High Potential Scholarship programme awards 150 $35,000 scholarships to very brilliant students from outside the United States. The scholarship is designed to assist students who have been admitted to an undergraduate, master's, or PhD programme at the University of Michigan. The Scholarship programme includes both the High Potential Scholarship (supported by the University Scholarship Fund) and the Albright Scholarship, which is funded by the Vanderbilt Institute in collaboration with the J.Morgan Grant.
Scholarship Requirement
- Applied to the University of Michigan for a full-time program for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Meet U.S. visa requirements for studying as an international student
- Not a citizen of the U.S., EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam
- Show outstanding academic achievements, in the top 5% of applicants
- Have not attended a degree-seeking program in the U.S. (exchange program participants are okay)
- Be under 45 years old on September 1, 2024
