Study Free in Indonesia - Apply for UMY University Scholarship 2025 in Indonesia for Bachelors, Masters and PhD

Applications are now open for the UMY University Scholarship 2025 in Indonesia. UMY stands for Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This scholarship is available for international students who want to study for undergraduate or graduate degrees at UMY. It covers tuition fees and provides a living allowance. There are many study programs available for both undergraduates and graduates. You can apply without needing an IELTS test. The study program starts in June 2025.

Scholarship Duration

1. Undergraduate: 4 academic years (8 semesters)
2. Postgraduate: 2 academic years (4 semesters)
3. Doctoral: 4 academic years

Scholarship Criteria 

International students won't have to pay tuition fees or living costs for the first year. In the second year, they need to meet certain GPA requirements.

For undergraduate programs:

1. GPA 3.00 or higher: Free tuition and living costs
2. GPA between 2.75 and 3.00: 75% discount on tuition
3. GPA below 2.75: Scholarship is revoked

For Master's and Doctoral programs:

1. GPA 3.50 or higher: Free tuition and living costs
2. GPA between 3.25 and 3.50: 75% discount on tuition
3. GPA between 3.00 and 3.25: 50% discount on tuition
4. GPA below 2.75: Scholarship is revoked.

For Master's and Doctoral programs:

1. GPA 3.50 or higher: Free tuition and living costs
2. GPA between 3.25 and 3.50: 75% discount on tuition
3.  GPA between 3.00 and 3.25: 50% discount on tuition
4.  GPA below 2.75: Scholarship is revoked

Living Allowance:

1. Undergraduate: IDR 1,850,000 per month
2. Master’s: IDR 2,350,000 per month
3. Doctoral: IDR 2,600,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria

 You can apply if you meet these requirements:

1. Accepted English tests: IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, TOEIC
2. B1 CEFR Level (for undergraduate students)
3. B2 CEFR Level (for master’s and doctoral students)

English Language Test Exemption: If your previous education was at an English Medium institution, you can apply without IELTS. Get an English Proficiency Waiver from your previous school/institution. The document must be stamped and signed.
