As you know, the Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded program at Oxford University. Previously, it was only available to certain countries (check Rhodes eligible countries). To give everyone a fair chance, the Rhodes Global Scholarship is now open to citizens of all other countries. Anyone from these countries can apply to study at Oxford.
The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the oldest and most competitive programs. It allows you to pursue a Master’s, MPhil, or PhD in any subject at Oxford. There are TWO scholarships available for students from the rest of the world. Duration of the Scholarship
- Master: 2-3 years
- PhD: 3 years
Start Date Two lucky winners will head to Oxford, and classes will begin in October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Rhodes Global Scholarship is for citizens of countries not listed in the Rhodes Eligible Countries.
- You must be aged 18-23 on 1st October 2024, or under 27.
- You must have completed an undergraduate degree with a First Class Honours or equivalent, or a GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- You must meet the entry requirements for the course at Oxford University.

How to Apply for the Rhodes Global Scholarship 2025
- Complete and submit the online application form before the deadline. There is no application fee.
- Apply for the Rhodes Scholarship before applying for the course at Oxford University.
- If selected, you will then need to apply for your chosen course at Oxford with support from the Rhodes House team.
Get a Letter of Nomination
- You must obtain a letter of nomination from your university; you cannot nominate yourself.
- Register the details of your nominator on the application form. You can only submit your application once they have submitted the nomination.
