The Istanbul Youth Summit (IYS) 2025 is now open for registration! Hosted by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation, this eighth edition invites young people from around the globe to join under the theme, “Empowering Youth Leaders to Drive Sustainable Change for A Brighter Future.” IYS is a platform for young changemakers to discuss and develop strategies to create a better world.

This summit offers more than just talks—it’s an unmissable opportunity to connect with dynamic youth from across the world. You’ll participate in engaging discussions, workshops, and activities that will enhance your leadership skills. Attendees will also hear from expert speakers, join panel discussions, and explore creative solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges. More details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria for Fully Funded Seats

• Applicants must be between 15 to 40 years old.
• Submit a 250-word essay on one of the following SDG themes: Health (SDG 3), Education (SDG 4), Economy (SDG 8), Environment (SDG 13), or Rule of Law (SDG 16).
• Open to people from all academic backgrounds.
• You must have no criminal record.
• You should not be involved in any extremist activities.
• No English or Health Certificate is required to apply.
