Eligible Fields: Funding is available across all disciplines, including Engineering, Humanities, Arts, Business, Law, General Sciences, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Participating HEI Institutes: You can choose a course at any of the participating universities listed, secure an acceptance letter from a supervisor, and then apply for the scholarship.
Benefits of the Scholarship:
- Maximum value of €31,000 per year
- €22,000/year stipend
- €3,250/year for research expenses
- Contribution towards fees, including non-EU fees, up to €5,750 per year
Benefits of the Postdoctoral Fellowship:
- Salary of €46,305 in the first year and €47,879 in the second year
- Employer’s PRSI contribution
- €5,000/year for research expenses
Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship is open to all applicants, regardless of nationality, and Irish students are also eligible. Applicants must pass a preliminary eligibility quiz, hold the required degree for the program they are applying for, and have a willing supervisor. English fluency is required, but IELTS/TOEFL is only needed if required by the specific university.
