Study in China - Applications are open for the fully funded ANSO Scholarship 2025 in China.
Applications are now open for the fully funded ANSO Scholarship 2025 in China. If you're curious, ANSO stands for the Alliance of International Science Organizations. It’s a non-profit group dedicated to improving global education, advancing science and technology, and fostering international cooperation. The organization has 37 founding members, including leading universities and scientific institutions from around the world. This fully funded scholarship is available for international students pursuing master’s and PhD programs in China.
The ANSO Scholarship aims to support talented young scientists who aspire to pursue higher education abroad. For 2025, ANSO is offering 200 fully funded scholarships for master’s students and 300 for PhD candidates. These scholarships are available at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). USTC, established in 1958, is a top-ranked university in China known for its research excellence. UCAS is an innovative university that focuses on graduate education.
A special category of the ANSO Scholarship, the ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship, was introduced in 2022. This program prioritizes applicants from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and women. Under this program, 50 PhD scholarships are offered each year for students from developing countries.
