Study in Taiwan - Applicantions are open to apply for the Taiwan International Graduate Scholarship for the academic year 2025
Applications are open for the Taiwan International Graduate Scholarship (TIGP) for 2025. This scholarship is for international PhD students from around the world (except China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong). It is organized by Academia Sinica in partnership with Taiwan’s national research universities.
The program is conducted entirely in English, and there is no application fee. Applicants can only apply for one program under TIGP, which includes 13 different research fields. The scholarship offers a supportive, research-focused environment to nurture talented students.
English language proficiency is required unless:
- You come from an English-speaking country.
- Your previous degree was completed at a university where English was the primary language.
Scholarship Benefits
- A stipend of NT$ 40,000/month (~US$1,250).
